Neolin Drexel Taylor, 85, of Topeka, quietly slipped from this life into a heavenly life with his Lord on December 28, 2015.
Neolin was born on October 5, 1930, in Woodston, KS, the son of Lewis and Estella Taylor. He married Opal Conn on July 30, 1950 and they spent 65 happy years together. He is survived by his wife and 4 children: Verna (Gary) Napier, Topeka; Drusilla (Dan) Emmot, Beloit; Bruce (Pam) Taylor, Gardner; Trudi (Rick) Lee, Big Pine, CA.
Neolin’s passion in life was his ministry at the First Baptist Church in Mankato for 13 years following retirement. Although he was an only child, his family surpassed expectations, giving him 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren, all of whom had a special place in his heart.
The family will greet friends from 9:00-10:30 on January 4, 2016 at First Baptist Church in Mankato with services at 10:30. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, Mankato.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church, 625 East South St, Mankato, KS 66956.
