She married Harvey Fogo on November 21, 1936, in Mankato, Kansas. They were the first couple to be married in the unfinished Jewel County Courthouse. They established their home near Burr Oak. Harvey and Edna were charter members of the Wagon Wheelers Square Dance Club and enjoyed many years of square dancing. They did a lot of traveling, camping, and fishing in their retirement years.

Edna was baptized at the Christian Church in March of 1986, and attended faithfully until her health began to fail. She was also an active member of the CWF. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, making Barbie Doll clothes and piecing quilts. She also loved gardening, baking, reading, crossword puzzles and most of all spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She was affectionately known as “Gram” or “Grandma” by many other who cared for her.
