Adelia Ann was 71, born on January 25th, 1950, to Glenn and Ina (Love) Rightmeier in Mankato, Kansas. She left the earth surrounded by her family on October 31st, 2021, to be in the arms of her God.
She married William (Bill) Hedden September 27th, 1969, in Udall Kansas where they lived until 1975, when they moved to Winfield, Kansas. Adelia loved taking pictures and she enrolled in the Canon Photography Masters classes where she received their 4-star Canon Masters Photography award. In 2004, she was awarded outstanding achievement in amateur photography by the International Society of Photographers. She also loved babysitting for many years and sitting at Island Park just watching all the wildlife.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years Bill, her sister Debra Mahaffy of Derby, brother Richard Rightmeier of Mankato, Sister-in-laws, Pam (Duane) Shockey of Haysville, Annette (Brad) Enegren of Wellsville, and Bonita (Darren) Nichols of Floral City, Florida, and many nieces, nephews and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Ina Rightmeier, Mother and Father in-law Bonnie and John Hedden, Brother in-laws, Butch Mahaffy and Clyde Hedden and nephew Richard Shockey.
Visitation will be from 1:00 pm-4:00 pm, Friday November 5th, 2021, at Melby Mortuary, with family receiving friends during this time.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 6th, 2021, at 10:00 am at the Melby Mortuary Mankato, KS, located at 402 N. High Street. Burial will follow in the Mount Hope Cemetery, Mankato, Kansas.
