Letha Marie Sarten

Letha Marie Sarten, 62 years of age, of California passed away Friday, December 26, 2025 at her residence surrounded by her loving family in Mankato, Kansas. She was born on May 8, 1963 in Olivehurst, California to Lawrence and Shirley Sarten.

Letha spent most of her early life in Olivehurst, California. In her adulthood she loved and raised 5 children. She was a homemaker most all her life and later work at a Institution in the state of Washington where she was a landscaper taking pride in her work and making the outside of the facilities beautiful.

She enjoyed sewing, cartoons, taking trips at a moment’s notice, traveling and most of all spending time with her beloved family, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Letha is survived by her mother, Shirley, two daughters, Nina Lyn, Patricia (Jonathan), 2 sons, Troy and Joseph, nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and her sister, Scotia.

She was preceded in death by her father, William Lawrence Sarten, a son, Shawn, brother, Dennis and her beloved man Randy Potts.

Letha’s wishes were to be cremated and private family services will be held at a later time in California.
